Door Size Guidance:
- Cabinets from 400mm to 600mm wide require one door
- Cabinets from 800mm to 1200mm wide require two doors
- Each door should be 4mm narrow than its corresponding cabinet opening
Example:
- 500mm cabinet requires one door 496mm wide
- 1000mm cabinet requires two doors 496mm wide
The bedroom worktop should extend at least 20mm beyond the cabinet depth to overhang the door correctly
